It's the perfect dinner party you will ever host!

Hello! My name is Vinod Swami. My wife Paddy and I have been residents of Lakewood Ranch since 2014. After a successful career in Information Technology and Business Consulting, which took me to many corners of the world, I retired with a goal of furthering my passion for food and wine. The highlight of my travels, whether it was for business or leisure, was the opportunity to sample the local cuisine. I would always try to replicate the dishes when I got back home. We love to entertain and so we’d invite friends over to themed parties at our home. I would cook the entire meal and pair it with cocktails and wine. Paddy would wow them with her creative desserts. At one of these soirees, one of our guests said "this is amazing; you guys should open a restaurant".....and from this the idea of the Global Dining Foundry was born.

Themed private dinner parties for small groups of 8-12 people in the Lakewood Ranch area are at the core of what the Global Dining Foundry is all about. We think there is nothing more fulfilling than enjoying the good company of friends and family over a meal. And it is all the better when someone else is doing all the work....that includes bringing all the serving dishes and utensils and clean up after!

The Global Dining Foundry will offer Spanish, French/European, Pan-Asian and Indian food. We can work with you to develop a theme for your dinner party and a menu that can be served either buffet style or individually plated (depending on the type of party you wish to host and your budget). Wine recommendations/pairings are also an available option.

He was so easy to work with; he worked with me through the planning of the evening, made a ton of creative suggestions regarding the food and specialty cocktails, all of which added to the overall ambience of the evening. And then he delivered an experience where the food was incredibly tasty and impeccably presented. Highly recommend!!
